First, though, I wandered into the park for this photo.

Morningside Park pond

Morningside Park waterfall

Man-made water lilies in the pond. There's a waterfall to the right of the willows. Let's turn around and make our way to Central Park West, which is called Frederick Douglass Blvd. north of 110th. (Central Park ends at 110th.)

The Towers

Back on the Upper West Side: The Towers on 106th and Central Park West. I lived across the street from here many years ago when I lived in actor's apartment while he was on tour for a few months. The Towers served a number of purposes over the years including a hospital and/or sanitarium or rehabilitation center. I think it is residential now. On to the greenway at 99th, about a mile away, or go to 125th to pick it up! There is no greenway exit from 99th to 125th. Bikers, head for 97th and Riverside.
