ABC television studios

This old arsenal is now a part of ABC television studios on West 66th, Peter Jennings Way, off Tucker Square. ABC practically occupies this entire block, and has a presence on several blocks around here.

Tucker Square, Manhattan

Tucker Square, where you see the pumpkins, is across from Lincoln Center. It was named for the opera singer Richard Tucker, also well known as a cantor. ABC has studios and offices throughout this area. You'll see some of them on W. 66th (Peter Jennings Way) between Amsterdam and Central Park West.

Farmers markets in New York City

The farmers' market was there the day I had my lunch. Juilliard's Alice Tully Hall across the street ("Lincoln Center" sign) is being renovated.

Upper West Side farmers markets

The farmers markets at Tucker Square, 65th-66th at Broadway and Columbus, is one of Manhattan's smaller farmers markets. Tables and chairs are at the far end.
