battery Park City Esplanade

A long esplanade separates North Cove from South Cove. It has two walkways separated by a row of trees.

These areas are next to the esplanade; I 'm still looking for my esplanade photos.

As we come to South Cove, New York's Museum of Jewish Heritage can be seen on the right.

We're still in Battery Park City. Let's explore the little park.

Battery Park Pier A

Our path curves at Pier A, since we have reached the southwest tip of Manhattan.

Battery Park Pier A

The building to the far right is near South Ferry. A 20-30 minute ride takes you to Staten Island and is free to the public. There are also accommodations for bicycles and cars.

Buildings north of Battery

We pass through Wagner Park, named for former mayor Robert F. Wagner, before we get to Battery Park around the bend.

From here, you'll go to the street for less than a block, then turn into Battery Park.
