The Meer is visible from 110th Street, and there are several Park entrances there.

We'll take a look at that boulder next.

I hoped to catch all of the bird in flight!

The Charles A. Dana Discovery Center (environmental
education and activities) juts out into the Meer. |

Looking back. We're heading around the lake.

110th Street

The pink trees are at Central Park's Conservatory Gardens.

We've made the turn and will head south, parallel to Fifth Avenue.

There's the Dana Discovery Center.

The boulder up ahead is Fort Clinton, but there is no fort there now.

This is the view FROM Fort Clinton.

We're back on the path to the Conservatory Gardens.
This is the view across the lake. The Lasker Rink and Pool are on the
left. |

There's a little sandy beach on the way.

Conservatory Gardens are straight ahead.

Let's get a couple close-ups that include the Dana Center.
