Skating Rink, Horse and Buggy Rides
62nd to 64th, east of center
I call this big boulder rink rock since it is next to the Wollman Skating Rink.
In the summertime the rink area becomes a carnival.
There are great views from rink rock. The back is not
steep, so you can take a bike up. |

Refreshments are available next to Wollman Rink.
The carnival was here last week, but preparations for the skating rink are underway.
The Horse and Buggies pass by on the road next to rink
rock on their way to Central Park South, where they pick up new passengers.
They have a lane to themselves here. |
